Cinnabon Adds Fruit Flavors to Center of the Roll and Mochalatta Chill

Atlanta (Jan. 18, 2011) – Cinnabon is offering new fruit flavors to two of its favorite offerings. The Raspberry Mochalatta Chill and Fruit Topped Center of the Roll are now available for a limited time.

“Since introducing the Center of the Roll, our Guests have raved about the portable version of the ooey, gooey center of our Classic Cinnabon Rolls,” said Kat Cole, Cinnabon president. “After adding the Caramel Pecanbon version, we wanted to give our Guests options to customize their Center of the Roll with toppings.”

The Center of the Roll consists of bite-sized pieces of baked sweet dough featuring Makara Cinnamon and brown sugar, and smothered with cream cheese frosting. Now, in addition to the already available caramel pecan version, Guests can add an apple or cherry topping to the classic version.

“For more than 20 years, the Mochalatta Chill has been a Guest favorite – combining coffee, chocolate and ice to create an indulgent specialty beverage,” added Cole. “The new Raspberry Mochalatta Chill is delicious when paired with the Fruit Topping Center of the Roll.”

Cinnabon Offers Holiday Twist on Traditional Menu Offerings

Atlanta (Nov. 11, 2010) – There’s nothing that speaks to the holiday season quite like a mint chocolate or caramel pecan flavored treat. And nothing cures a holiday craving like the ooey, gooey center of a Cinnabon roll alongside an iced coffee beverage.

That’s why, for a limited time, Cinnabon is offering the Mint Mochalatta Chill and Pecanbon Center of the Roll.

“We recently introduced the Center of the Roll to provide our Guests with a portable version of their favorite part of our Classic Cinnabon Rolls,” said Gary Bales, Cinnabon president. “This holiday season is the perfect time to top off that already popular offering with our new Caramel Pecanbon version.”

Cinnabon Partners with Operation Gratitude to Send “Hugs from Home” Holiday Care Packages to Troops

Atlanta (Sept. 30, 2010) Over 150,000 troops will be stationed in Afghanistan this holiday season.  In thanks for their service, Cinnabon is raising money for Operation Gratitude to send “Hugs from Home” care packages to these unsung heroes.

October 1 through 31, Guests can support this heart-warming cause by making donations at participating bakeries.  For every $1.00 contribution, they will receive a $1.00 “Cinnabuck” valid on their next visit. 

Guests can also use the Twitter hashtag #cinnabonsaysthx to send tweets for troops.  For every tweet, Cinnabon will chip in 10 cents to Operation Gratitude, for a maximum donation of $10,000.

When the fundraiser ends, Cinnabon will team up with Operation Gratitude to send care packages that will include Kellogg’s® Cinnabon snack bars, Cinnabon Cream of Wheat from B&G Foods®, Cinnabon kettle roasted nuts from Mellace Family Brands® and Cinnabon candy canes from Spangler Candy®.

The Center of the Roll consists of bite-sized pieces of baked sweet dough featuring Makara Cinnamon, brown sugar and caramel smear.  Topped with cream cheese frosting, the Center of the Roll is served hot in a special wrapper that easily unfolds to reveal a visual, aromatic and tasty experience unique to Cinnabon.

The Center of the Roll is also available with pecan pieces and caramel topping to pay homage to the equally popular Caramel Pecanbon.
