Atlanta (Sept. 30, 2011) – For the second year in a row, Cinnabon is partnering with Operation Gratitude to raise money to send “Hugs from Home” care packages to our heroes overseas.
October 1 through 31, Guests can support this heart-warming cause by making donations at participating bakeries. For every $1.00 contribution, they will receive a $1.00 “Cinnabuck” valid on their next visit.
Guests can also use their cell phones to support our troops. For every Foursquare check-in to a bakery, Cinnabon will make a $1.00 donation to Operation Gratitude, for a maximum donation of $10,000.
“We are proud to spread the warmth of our baked goods to our guests throughout the year,” said Kat Cole, Cinnabon president. “It’s important for us to serve those who serve others, so we wanted to send our troops some sweet memories of home during the holiday season.”
