Cinnabon Features Chocolate and Cherry in New Menu Items

Atlanta (May 31, 2012) –Cinnabon® bakeries are now adding chocolate and cherry flavors to its world famous cinnamon roll and blended beverages. Now through Nov. 3, Chocolate-Covered Minibons®, Chocolate-Covered Cherry Chillattas® and Cherry Tangy Chillattas are available at participating bakeries.

“We’re excited to have the opportunity to celebrate the Minibon roll’s 25th birthday by showcasing this smaller sweet treat with a Disturbingly Delicious twist of decadent chocolate,” said Kat Cole, president of Cinnabon. “Adding chocolate and cherry to our fans’ favorite products gives them the alternative to enjoy our unique flavors in different ways.”

In addition to the Chocolate-Covered Minibon, Cinnabon is featuring a Chocolate-Covered Cherry Chillatta and a Cherry Tangy Chillatta. The Chocolate-Covered Cherry Chillatta is a creamy beverage blended with a dairy mix, cherry flavor and chocolate sauce topped with whipped cream and chocolate syrup. The Cherry Tangy Chillatta is a fat-free, frozen lemonade blended with cherry syrup.

The suggested retail price of the Chocolate-Covered Minibon is $2.98, the Chocolate-Covered Cherry Chillatta is $3.99 (16 oz.) and $4.49 (24 oz.), and the Cherry Tangy Chillatta is $3.59 (16 oz.) and $4.29 (24 oz.).

Atlanta (Feb. 8, 2012) –Cinnabon® bakeries are now serving up the world famous cinnamon roll flavor in coffee. Now through May 20, Cinnabon Flavored Coffee Chillatta® and Cinnabon Flavored Iced Coffee are available at participating bakeries.

The Cinnabon Flavored Iced Coffee has hints of brown sugar, vanilla and Makara® cinnamon, making it the most bon-like coffee yet. The Cinnabon Flavored Coffee Chillatta is a frozen, blended beverage that contains Makara cinnamon and vanilla flavors blended with a ribbon of caramel and topped with whipped cream.

Cinnabon Plays ‘Roll’ in Summer Flick “The Love Guru” Starring Mike Myers

– New L.O.V.E. Chillatta beverage with lemon-lime natural energy introduced in concert with movie tie-in –

Atlanta (June 20, 2008) – The crave appeal of world famous Cinnabon® Classic® Rolls has never been duplicated, but this summer, the taste is especially huge.  That’s because the Cinnabon brand has made its latest feature film cameo as the exclusive and sole promotional quick-service restaurant partner in “The Love Guru”, the highly anticipated movie from Paramount Pictures® starring comedian Mike Myers as Guru Pitka.  The brand’s close-up coincides with a pivotal scene featuring a Cinnabon bakery inside an airport terminal.

As part of the brand’s “Love Guru” promotion, and with the help of Paramount Pictures, Cinnabon has adapted the Guru Pitka t-shirts worn by fans in a scene at a professional hockey game.  Bakery employees will sport yellow t-shirts that play off Guru Pitka’s envelope-pushing sayings by incorporating the message ‘Cinnabon – The Taste is HUGE’.

Various marketing materials for this promotion also include Guru Pitka-esque quips and acronyms, such as ‘I love them BIG and ROUND’ and ‘Love Your B.O.N.S. – Beautiful Open-Hearted Nurturing Spirit’.

There’s also the new L.O.V.E. Chillatta beverage – ‘Lemon-Lime Outputting Valuable Energy’.  Available now through July 26 at participating locations, this limited time flavor in Cinnabon’s iced, blended beverage line comes packed with all natural energy from sources like vitamins B12 and C, taurine, ginseng and caffeine from guarana.  These and all cold specialty beverages will be served in 16- and 24-ounce “Love Guru” cups during the promotion, with the Cinnabon logo on one side and the movie logo on the other.
